Linmere 2026 Residents Survery

Linmere Residents Engagement Survey

The annual engagement survey was launched in Spring 2026, with a 30 question survey, adapted and updated from the previous version in 2025 included:

Demographic profiling of residents

Ratings of green spaces & facilities

Event planning

NPS feedback (Net Promoter Scores)

It was promoted across all available channels including social media, the Linmere website, a bespoke newsletter drop and followed up with a two-day door knocking event. We secured full, completed surveys from 91 households, to provide a good pool of data to collect opinions on life in Linmere.

Residents were asked what events they would like to see hosted at The Farmstead. Local food and produce markets proved popular, as it has in previous surveys, and this is something ROAM Cafe has experimented with the Eat Feast Food Fest, at the close of Summer 2025. Children’s events, again, proved popular in the survey and something we continue to host in the annual events calendar, with Soft Play at The Farmstead, alongside regular classes for Socatots and Performing Arts. We will also be hosting the annual Summer Picnic, on Linmere Park this summer–look out for details. Fitness and Wellbeing events remain popular, catered for with numerous classes, throughout the week, including Everybody Bootcamp, Kick Box & Burn, Balance & Breath, Zumba and FitSteps!

Roam Café:

Sentiment around ROAM Café remains positive with an NPS score of +17, whilst lower compared to 2025. Comments reflected some concerns around pricing and the demand to open in the evening.

landscape Management:

This was measured in 2026, for the first time, so we don’t have a comparable NPS score from last year. The current score is negative, reflecting general comments and concerns about the presentation of shared green spaces in delivered areas. Whilst the Land Trust have adopted some of the larger green spaces, such as Linmere Park, many smaller green spaces and verges, closer to resident areas, are currently under the management of home developers. The recent Residents Forum highlighted the confusion around the lack of clarity over responsibility for specific spaces. The Linmere Delivery team and Land Trust are addressing this issue, presently.

Landscape Management Sentiment

open spaces:

There’s overall satisfaction with the provision of open spaces around Linmere, delivering a good NPS score of +15. By providing additional questions on sentiment around Landscape Management (above) we were able to gather more specific feedback on green space provision, outside any concerns over maintenance and management of waste.
