2020
- Phase 1 earthworks, drainage, roads, parks under construction
- First three housebuilders on site with houses for sale from late 2020
2021
- Opening of ‘The Farmstead at Linmere’, the heart of the development incorporating a café, community hall and adventure playground
- Opening of a new supermarket
- Extended Thornhill Primary School due to open (3 form primary)
2022-2032
- New adjacent secondary school due to open Further housing
- 2 further primary schools
- Further retail offerings
2023 - 2024
- Further residential homes to be delivered across phases 1–3, providing a mix of tenure (BTR, affordable homes and market homes) over the next 2 to 5 years
- Local centre phase 1 to be fully operational by 2024, including nursery, convenience store and other retail offerings. Supported by excellent public realm
- Opening of new community garden allotments adjacent to Linmere Park
- Landscaping and new leisure facilities for new Green Park
- Secondary school extension opening with new sports facilities in place
- Phase 4 currently being master planned. Infrastructure to be delivered in 2023/24 with first units being delivered in 2024
2028 Onwards
- Phases 5 and 6 to be delivered within a 10 - 15 year period
- Further two local amenity areas to be delivered in phase 3b and 5 over the next 10 years
- 2 primary school situated in phase 3b and phase 5 over the next 10 years
- Sports pitches and sports hubs: woodside park within the next 5 years, with Bidwell Park to follow
