Moving to a new area comes with a long list of things to organise, so registering with a GP can easily be forgotten. It’s worth doing as soon as you can, so you and your family know where to turn whenever you need medical advice, support or treatment. Across Linmere, we come under the catchment of 2 surgeries; the Wheatfield Surgery, and the Houghton Regis Medical Centre. Both surgeries are open to new registrations, so please ensure you use the time to sign-up, and ensure you’re covered.

Wheatfield Surgery for PhaseS 2, 3a and Osier Grove

Residents living in Phase 2, Phase 3a and the Osier Grove area of Phase One, can register with Wheatfield Surgery, located at 60 Wheatfield Road, Lewsey Farm, Luton—just a short journey from Linmere.

Wheatfield Surgery is a friendly community practice supporting individuals and families with their everyday healthcare needs. It’s open from 8am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, and offers online services for managing appointments, ordering repeat prescriptions and accessing parts of your medical record.

Hougton Regis Medical Centre for Phase One

Residents living in Phase One—apart from the Osier Grove area—can register with Houghton Regis Medical Centre on Peel Street, Houghton Regis.

The practice offers GP and nursing appointments, repeat prescriptions, childhood immunisations, contraception advice, mental health support and care for long-term conditions. Once registered, you’ll be allocated a named GP and can use a range of online services to help manage your healthcare.

• Tuesday: 8am–7.45pm
• Wednesday: 8am–6.30pm
• Thursday: 8am–6.30pm
