Progress Update

The Linmere Masterplan is influenced by a number of design concepts and principles that have been carefully considered throughout the planning and development process. Everything we create is inspired by:

• Connecting residents to nature – creating inclusive and accessible open spaces that offer and encourage active and play opportunities for all ages
• Enhancing biodiversity – the green open spaces have been designed to create new habitat for a diverse range of wildlife and in turn boost biodiversity on site
• Promoting active travel – Linmere has been designed to encourage and enable active travel throughout the development through safe pedestrian and cycle routes

How will we achieve this?

A design code was developed and approved by Central Bedfordshire Council making sure the design concepts and principles that inspired the Masterplan are put into practice.
