Linmere Community Forum

Linmere Community Forum

The Linmere Community Forum provides an open dialogue between residents, the Linmere delivery team and other stakeholders, to work together in helping to shape the Linmere plan, moving forward. The Community Forum will meet every quarter, 4 times a year, with our next meeting scheduled for Monday 3rd February 2025, at 6:30pm. You can find a link to join the next meeting, further below.

Purpose of the forum

The Linmere Community Forum will provide a regular meeting, to bring together Linmere residents, promoting two-way conversation and opportunities for residents to help shape the forward plan.

The forum will help support this activity and drive future engagement through two key functions. The first is an advisory function by supporting the Linmere team, The Land Trust, and home developers, to shape development progress and community activity. The second is a Community Liaison function, supported and run by the Linmere Delivery Team, where the group shares and receives information and the Linmere team uses established channels to communicate updates to the wider community.

The core aims and objectives:

  • To bring residents together to help develop and implement the forward plan
  • To advise on community events, partnerships, and projects that will strengthen and deepen community relationships
  • To provide a forum for regular discussion and updates on the construction programme for Linmere
  • To provide feedback to the developers and contractors and provide an insight into any concerns the community has regarding the construction programme
  • To share information on the construction programme to ensure residents and the local community are fully aware of what is happening on site and when
  • To provide a forum for the local community to ask the Linmere Team questions and raise issues of concern
