Lime Tree Orienteers Trail goes Live

Just moved to the area and looking to explore? Want to get outside in the great outdoors? The Lime Tree Orienteers Trail is just what you need to have some fun on Linmere Park. This self-guided trail has been uniquely designed to get kids outside and build digital skills with the use of the smart phone App called What3Words to learn all about orienteering and map reading.

What will I need to complete the trail:

  • A trail map from Roam Café Bistro or you can download one here.
  • A pencil to complete the clues.
  • A smart phone with the What3Words installed or you can get the app here.

The trail is ideal for discovering features of Linmere Park

Once you’re ready to go head over to Linmere Park and get started. The trail takes you through some of Linmere’s most scenic paths, with checkpoints marked by What3Words addresses. Each checkpoint offers a new coding challenge to try your hand at. You’ll be able to learn all about the local environment and geography along the way, so it is a truly interactive walking trail ideally for you and the family to complete.
