A big welcome to Sandra and Bianca, founders of the Lash Lounge chain, who’ve opened their 3rd Lash Lounge salon at the Farmstead earlier in 2023. We meet up with them to find out what Lash Lounge has to offer the wider community and why the Farmstead works well for them and their customers.
Lash Lounge first opened 5 years ago in Hemel Hempstead, adding their Watford branch in 2020, a week before lockdown. Understandably business at the second branch took a while to grow, as Govt restrictions on the salons took some time to lift. By late 2022, their customer base had grown strongly, with a staff of 35, they looked for a new community to continue the Lash Lounge story.
Sandra: “We first looked at St Albans, which had a good passing trade, but it didn’t offer free parking and that’s a challenge when you’re just stopping by for a patch test, and you have to add more money just to drop in. Linmere offers plenty of parking space, within a new area, so it just felt right.”
Activity at the Lash Lounge Linmere is building nicely, as residents and customers from the wider region are discovering the Lash Lounge story.
Sandra: “We get a lot of our new customers from social media, we have over 8,000 followers and it’s amazing. We’re also seeing some contacting us through google and we’re getting some mothers popping in on their way to classes at the Farmstead. When the new café opens, that will generate a lot more custom.”

Their Lash Lifts will give your natural lashes an instant lift, making them look fuller and longer without the need for extensions. For those looking for more dramatic volume, we offer individual lashes that add definition to each lash strand for more dramatic effect. And Russian Lashes, applying synthetic lashes to your natural lashes, give you a fuller, fan effect.
Alongside lash treatments, customers can enjoy brow waxing and shaping, nail treatments and semi-permanent make-up. In fact, outside of hair styling, you’ll get all you need for weddings, proms, parties or just the glamorous every day.
Now that Lash Lounge has put down some roots at Linmere, there’s a clear plan to grow the business and new relationships in the region.
Sandra: “We just want to keep it steady, deliver excellent service and give our customers the best experience so they keep coming back. We don’t want to move too quickly. Our nail techs are expanding their hours here, so we’re going to get it right.”
