A new adventure is ready for our younger residents! The Little Saplings Trail is now open, inviting children and their families to explore the shared green spaces across Linmere’s Phases 2 and 3a.
With seven rubbing plaques to discover, the trail encourages little explorers to learn about the animals and plants that call Linmere home, collecting a rubbing at each stop along the way.
Beginning at The Farmstead, the route takes families through Oasis Park and into the recently created green spaces around Elmers Gate and the new Green on Phase 3b. It’s a lovely opportunity to explore somewhere new, take a closer look at nature and enjoy time outdoors together.

Follow the trail across 7 rubbing plaques, to complete your booklet!
Taking part is easy: pick up a trail leaflet from ROAM Café at The Farmstead and set off on your adventure. Once you’ve collected all seven rubbings, bring your completed leaflet back to the ROAM team to receive a “WELL DONE!” sticker
With half-term approaching, it’s an ideal activity for curious minds and little legs.

You’ll discover new spaces in Linmere, including The Green on Phase 3b!
Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the trail, as the route includes crossings over roads that are open to traffic. Please take care when crossing.
We look forward to seeing lots of happy Little Saplings explorers out and about.
