Heading down past The Farmstead and Lidl you’ll see the building out of Phase 3a at Linmere is progressing well. This phase is a mix of residential homes and local park spaces, with good connections for sustainable transport and walking back to The Farmstead.
Our new welcome signage has been installed to guide residents into the area. A number of different housebuilders will be delivering in this phase, with Barratts having completed homes residents have already started to move into.
This phase has a different character to the existing phases and will see rain gardens and an ecological corridor, running alongside the already existing Woodside Link, bring biodiversity to the area.
Once the areas are linked to The Farmstead we’ll be designing walking trails and cycle routes, similar to those in Phase One, to link the areas together and help provide active and healthy lifestyle options for a broad range of users.
Linmere is designed to be a place for communities that embraces the natural environment, and where all generations can enjoy a great quality of life. This exciting new collection of leafy and walkable neighbourhoods, situated north of Houghton Regis Bedfordshire, located close to M1 Junction 11a. Nestled into verdant surroundings, its first homes completed and inhabited in 2021. The Land Trust will maintain and preserve these spaces on behalf of Houghton Regis Management Company.
