Marlen and the Land Trust hosted a Summer Solstice Celebration on Linmere Park on Friday evening (June 21st). Residents joined Joanne Faherty for an outdoor yoga session, followed by story telling and drumming with Helen from the Solstice Storytelling Circle. The real star of the show was the weather, delivering a stunning sunset across Linmere as Helen shared tales of princesses, dragons and archers.
Marlen from the Land Trust noted:“It was lovely to spend the evening on the park with some local families as the sun was setting. With weather like this, it’s a great place to enjoy the beautiful scenery. I’d like to thank those who joined us and we look forward to seeing at the coming sports day.
