A brand new and FREE Shuttlebus Service is launching between Linmere and Leagrave station, from 6th January 2025. The service, operating as a pilot for 6–9 months, operated by Dunstable-based Britannia cabs, supported by Central Beds Council and funded by Linmere.
The service is open to Linmere residents, offering a frequent morning and evening schedule, using a 16-seater minibus. With 5 departures from Linmere every weekday morning, along with 5 return services from Leagrave station each evening, there’s a maximum operating capacity of 80 seats on offer each day, so no need to pre book.
Services will depart from the bus stop on Sundon Road, delivering passengers to a bus stop on Toddington Road, no more than 300M from Leagrave station. Return journeys, back to Linmere, will collect at the same stop.
Services begin from Sundon Road, every weekday morning, from 06:30am – running every 30 mins up to 08:30am. The evening schedule starts at 18:00, from Todddington Road / Leagrave Station – running every 30 mins up to 20:00.
