It’s been a very busy Halloween Half-Term at Linmere this year, enjoyed by our residents and neighbours alike, and we want to thank everyone who joined us to make it so memorable.
Our Monster Bash kicked off proceedings, hosting lots of young Halloween revellers, all fittingly-costumed, for some ghoulish disco, ghost-ball fights and countless party games. Fair to say the decibel levels were pretty impressive!
At the start of the week, we launched our Halloween Pumpkin Trail, and despite poor weather on the first day, we had an excellent turnout, with lots of completed trails and happy trailers leaving with a prize. A very special thanks goes out to the pupils at Thornhill School, for their incredible artwork adorning all 12 pumpkins making up the trail. We’ll be visiting the school soon, to thank them in person.
Marlen’s Halloween Craft sessions saw an excellent attendance, with some very impressive Halloween Peg Dolls created by everyone taking part. This was followed by the last visit, this year, from Vojo’s Playbus, with all sessions sold out!
And a final shout to Dr Bike, who kindly hosted a drop-in session at The Farmstead, giving 15 bikes a winter-ready check-over and essential service. We look forward to seeing Dr Bike again next Spring.
We’ve put together a video from the Monster Bash, which captures a lot of the fun we had on the night, as well as some pics of all those who took part across all our events, across the half-term. Good luck to everyone back at school. November’s not the most sociable month of the year, but December on its way and we can just about hear the sleigh bells in the distance!
Enjoy!
