NEW BELLWAY OFFICE AND NEW BUYERS AT LINMERE GATE
Bellway has officially opened the sales office and two show homes at its Linmere Gateway development. The developer is building 154 homes at the new development off Sundon Road, the company’s second site within the wider Linmere development.
Members of the housebuilder’s divisional senior management team were joined by representatives from the wider Linmere consortium and homebuyers Jon Stroud and Charlotte Hall to cut a ribbon and declare the Linmere Gateway sales office officially open.
Jon, an estate agent, and Charlotte, a nurse, were one of the first buyers to legally complete on a new home at Linmere Gateway.
Visitors to the launch event were treated to cakes and drinks from The Farmstead – the cafe located at the heart of Linmere – with the Linmere consortiums’ caretaker Chris Kusema also attending the opening ceremony.
Lindsey Davenport, Senior Sales Manager at Bellway Northern Home Counties, said:
“The day was a tremendous success and was a fitting ceremony to mark the progress that we have already made at Linmere Gateway.”
“We released the first homes for sale at the development in March this year and demand for the properties has been consistently strong. It is early days, but we can already see a lovely community beginning to take shape. It was great that our customers and new residents, Jon and Charlotte, were able to come along and join us as well as representatives from the Linmere consortium. The Farmstead has already established itself as a mainstay of the neighbourhood and we are also very grateful to them for providing delicious refreshments.”
As a responsible house builder, we pride ourselves on not only delivering top-quality new homes but also on creating vibrant new neighbourhoods and always engaging with the existing community. We are very proud to be part of the consortium which is delivering thousands of much-needed new homes to this area and this event allowed us to reach out to the local community and to share the progress we have made at Linmere Gateway.”
The two showhomes which were officially opened at the development are the three-bedroom Cedar design and the four-bedroom Wainwright.
Bellway is delivering 142 properties for private sale which will feature a range of one and two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom homes.
Meanwhile, Bellway is already building 153 homes at its nearby Bellway at Linmere development, the first residential phase to be delivered within the wider Linmere site, which is planned to bring 5,000 new homes to the area.
Ben Phillips, Strategy & Placemaking Director at Linmere, said:
“We are delighted that Bellway are investing further in Linmere, and we are looking forward to working closely with them on this phase to create a great place for people to live.”
There’s a selection of two-bedroom apartments and three and four-bedroom homes available to reserve at Linmere Gateway, with prices starting from £262,000, £400,000 and £425,000 respectively.
