Start your 2026 fitness journey at The Farmstead

We hosted another successful Fitness Day at The Farmstead, to mark the start of 2026. Our regular Farmstead Class-makers introduced our eager residents to sample the classes, hosted every week at Linmere.

We thank everyone who supported the event, especially our generous class markers hosting free sessions for residents to sample. This is the start, however, to recruiting residents to join our classes and help us on our fitness journeys, throughout 2026. Check out the video below–if you joined us on the day, you look great and well done for coming!

With a fantastic choice of classes on offer, we hope there’s at least one to get those trainers on and get down to The Farmstead, this week, to try out!

Kick, Box & Burn – every Monday 7:00–7:45pm

Hosted by Emma, this is a full-body, high-calorie-burning Kickbox fitness class. Suitable for any level of fitness, and designed to help you feel stronger, fitter and confident. Regular sessions will help with fat loss, muscle gain, balance, coordination – leading to improved wellbeing and a chance to connect with new faces in the community.

Your first introduction session, for those who didn’t join our fitness day, is FREE and £8 per session beyond. You don’t need to bring gloves for your first session, as kit will be provided.

KICK, BOX & BURN

Zumba – every Wednesday 7:00–7:45pm

Hosted by local resident Helen, Zumba is a wildly successful fitness class, enjoyed by millions of avid participants, throughout the world. A high-energy dance fitness class that blends Latin and world rhythms, with simple dance and choreography. You’ll enjoy a mix of low and high-intensity moves, inspired by salsa, merengue, and flamenco, giving you a full-body workout, a chance to meet new people and a lot of fun.

Everybody Bootcamp – Coming Soon

Regularly hosted on Linmere Park, across Spring, Summer and Autumn, this is a bootcamp aimed at every age and every ability. Led by Scott, you’ll be taken through a series of drills guaranteed to change your day. Whether you’re brand new to exercise, or already active, you’ll be guided at your own pace to help you build your core strength, confidence, wellbeing and happiness.

We’re exploring the idea of running some indoor sessions before spring arrives, following the success of our trial session on our Farmstead Fitness Day. We’ll share details on the website and social, once we have a plan!

Of course, once we do get to spring 2026, we’ll be relaunching our regular outdoor bootcamp.

EVERYBODY BOOTCAMP

FitSteps – every Thursday 7:00–8:00pm

Hosted by tutor Louise, FitSteps is a fun, feel-good way to get your fitness journey moving with easy-to-follow dance steps, set to uplifting music, to get you moving with attentive guidance. FitSteps is an ideal fitness programme to build up your movement, core strength, and wellbeing, without the slog of getting fit, for the sake of it. Class regulars are fun and supportive, helping you feel part of the team quickly.

Balance & Breathe – every Monday 8:15–9:15pm

For those looking for a gentle, and reaffirming class to help you recharge, reconnect and restore your sense of wellbeing. A very popular class, hosted by our local instructor Shelley, the class blends the core principles of Pilates, Yoga, Mindfulness, Meditation, and Breath Work. Frequent attendance will help you find a balance–an inner equilibrium–to help you move with intention and awareness, leaving you grounded, centred and renewed.

Each session costs £7.50, with the option to purchase a group of 6 sessions, at a discounted price of £37.50. Use the link below to make a booking.
