Join us at Linmere allotments, on Friday 6 March, from 10am–3pm, for a free community workshop delivered by one the UK’s leading expert gardeners!
This free hands-on workshop will help you boost your confidence in growing your plants and food in whatever green space you have. This is an ideal workshop for beginners or those a little further on their gardening journey, looking for tips and advice, from one of the very best experts around!
The workshop will cover a number of key topics throughout the day, including:
Composting
Learn how to turn kitchen scraps and garden waste into nutrient-rich compost to power your plants!
Plant Propagation
Discover simple techniques to create new plants from the ones you already have.
Container Gardens
Whether you have a small space or a whole patio, learn how to grow successfully in pots!
Perennial Planting
Explore long-lasting, low-maintenance plants that return year after year.
The workshop is FREE and open to anyone, in Linmere or Houghton Regis, over the age of 18. To access this workshop, you will need to register with the Land Trust. The Linmere team will be on hand to assist with this process, so please confirm your interest by emailing the team, through the link below.
The location
Linmere allotments are sited at the northern end of Linmere Park. Car parking is provided, accessible from Waterslade way, Linmere.
