The charity Cycling UK, with Govt investment, are helping 4 regions around the country, sample the magic of e-cycling, through their campaign ‘Making Cycling E-asier’. Fortunately for us, that includes Luton & Dunstable, which means any Linmere resident can sign up for a month’s free loan of an e-bike. For free, provided you have somewhere safe to store it.
Hopping on an e-cycle regularly avoids having to pay for expensive fuel and car repairs. Not only that, they also bring mental and physical health benefits and contribute to a cleaner environment.
Not confident about getting back on a bike? No problem. Cycling UK are also running ‘e-cycle skills & confidence’ sessions at the Inspire Sports Village in Luton. These sessions will help you rediscover your confidence, as you get to try out one of the available e-cycles.
We tried out on of the bikes around Linmere and put together a video to describe the magic of e-cyling.
