Thanks to everyone who attended the first group session, supporting our research into ‘shaping the spaces around us’, run in partnership with the University of Bedfordshire.
This is an innovative approach for a master developer and placemaker to work with the community in developing ideas on how our shared, active spaces are designed and used over the coming years. We’re hoping this approach creates a model for other community-focused placemakers to use in the future.
We received a great deal of input from those who attended, including comments on what’s already in place and the near future of Green Park. It’s encouraging to hear how passionate people are about living in Linmere and the positive support for creating active and dynamic spaces for those here, and those still to join us.
This is a long process, with plenty of opportunity for more residents to take part in our future sessions. If you’re interested in taking part, email us on the link here and the research team will be in touch.
If you haven’t taken part in the online questionnaire, use one of the links below to take part and we’ll enter you into our draw for £100 shopping vouchers. Terms & conditions can be found here.
We look forward to meeting more of you at the next session.
